  • GOOD BYE TO OUR YEAR 6

    Published 21/07/26

As we come to the end of another wonderful school year and prepare to say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils, I would like to take a few moments to say thank you.

Firstly, to our parents and families—thank you for your constant support, encouragement, and partnership throughout your children's journey. Your trust, kindness, and commitment have helped our children grow into the confident, caring, and resilient young people we celebrate today. We couldn't do this without you.

To our dedicated teaching staff and support staff, I offer my heartfelt thanks. Many of you have taught, nurtured, encouraged, and inspired these children over the years. Every lesson taught, every word of encouragement, every challenge overcome, and every act of care has helped shape the wonderful individuals they have become. Your dedication, patience, and commitment make an incredible difference every single day, and we are deeply grateful.

I would also like to thank our governors for their continued guidance, support, and service to our school community. Your commitment helps ensure that our school continues to thrive and provides the very best opportunities for every child.

To all our staff, I wish you a well-deserved and restful summer holiday. Thank you for all your hard work, compassion, and dedication throughout the year. I hope the weeks ahead bring you time to relax, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with your family and friends.

And finally, to our Year 6 pupils: we are so proud of each and every one of you. As you begin the next exciting chapter of your lives, take with you the friendships you've made, the lessons you've learned, and the values you've lived each day. Be kind, be courageous, work hard, and always believe in yourselves. We know you will achieve wonderful things.

As we part for the summer, may God bless and guide each one of you. May He keep you safe, fill your holidays with joy, laughter, and happy memories, and bring you back refreshed and ready for the adventures that lie ahead.

Thank you, congratulations Year 6, and have a wonderful summer everyone.

  • YEAR 6 PRODUCTION

    Published 15/07/26

What an epic performance from Year 6 in their production of 'Porridge' on Wednesday.  All the children shone in the roles they had been given and there were laughs all the way through as the children delivered jokes that the adults enjoyed (and sometimes the children didn't get).  The singing was fantastic, both as a whole class and in the solos from Aisha, Christy and Elnathan.  All in all, Year 6, you outdid yourselves and we are all incredibly proud of every single one of you.

Our Chaplaincy Team recently enjoyed a wonderful retreat day together today in Aylesford Priory. Blessed with beautiful weather, the day provided a peaceful opportunity to step away from the busyness of school life, deepen their spirituality, and spend time in prayer, reflection, and fellowship. It was a joyful and enriching experience, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, returning refreshed and inspired in their role of serving our school community. Thank you to the children and to Mrs Smith for all your support.

  • ASPIRATIONS DAY 2026

    Published 25/06/26

What an amazing day we had with our Dress Up Day! Our children really shone as they dressed up to showcase their aspirations for the future. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and creativity as they transformed into what they want to be when they grow up.

We organised a fantastic Job Takeover Day, where local professionals and parents from various fields came in to share their experiences. Firefighters, solicitors, and even our local MP took the time to engage with our children, discussing the importance of their jobs in the community.

The children were buzzing with excitement, asking questions and getting involved in hands-on activities. It was truly a remarkable day for all our pupils, fostering their dreams and helping them realise the incredible opportunities that lie ahead. We hope this event inspires them to chase their aspirations with confidence!

  • KS2 SPORTS DAY 2026!

    Published 18/06/26

After having to postpone Sports Day a fortnight ago, we were luckier with the weather today and able to hold our KS2 Sports Day.  Children really enjoyed moving around the carousel of activities which included the traditional sack, egg and spoon and running races but also included dribbling with a hockey stick, netball shooting even welly throwing, which was a definite favourite.  Year 6 entertained everyone with their singing as we moved from race to race and we finished with the parents' races and a staff race.  It was a very tight contest but well done to Matthew house who were the overall winners, beating Mark by a mere one point.
