International Week 2026
International Week Celebration
Our school community came together to celebrate International Week with great enthusiasm, colour, and joy. Throughout the week, pupils explored and appreciated cultures from around the world through a variety of exciting activities and experiences.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the International Food Market, where families kindly contributed delicious dishes representing different countries and traditions. Pupils enjoyed tasting new foods and learning about the stories and customs connected to them.
Children also took part in learning about traditional and modern music from around the world, discovering how music helps express culture, identity, and celebration. In classrooms, pupils explored the history and traditions of different countries, broadening their understanding of the wider world and celebrating the richness of diversity within our school community.
Many pupils proudly wore traditional clothing or colours representing their heritage, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere across the school. These experiences encouraged meaningful conversations about respect, inclusion, and cultural pride.
As part of the week, pupils also learnt about influential international artists and created artwork inspired by different artistic styles and traditions from around the world. Their creativity and curiosity were wonderful to see.
International Week was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the diversity that makes our school so special. We would like to thank all families and staff for their support and contributions in making the week such a memorable success.
